Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is the main psychoactive component found in Marijuana. Possession of substances with a THC concentration higher than 0.3% is illegal federally and in North Carolina, and is classified as a schedule 1 drug in federal law and schedule 6 in North Carolina law.
