Brad Polk is a criminal defense and personal injury lawyer with over a decade of experience and a defense attorney. A North Carolina native, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from North Carolina State University and his law degree from the University of Mississippi.

After obtaining his law degree, Brad returned to North Carolina and was hired by the Wake County District Attorney’s Office.  Here he developed a passion for the courtroom, trying hundreds of bench and jury trials as a prosecutor.

His experience as a prosecutor helped him recognize the importance of effective representation for all individuals charged with a crime. Having learned the tactics of prosecutors that push less fortunate defendants to accept dire consequences, Brad became a criminal defense attorney. As a defense attorney, Brad has represented those from all walks of life, including indigent defendants, other attorneys, doctors, and noteworthy business-people. Brad practices in state district court, superior court, and federal court. He has successfully defended clients accused of charges including driving while impaired, drug trafficking, sex crimes, first degree murder, and much more. With swiftness and precision, Brad has been able to secure dismissals and not guilty verdicts on many tough cases. For example, after a two week trial in Wake County, Brad obtained a not guilty verdict for a client accused of first degree murder who was not given a plea offer because the prosecution felt their was case too strong.

Brad also represents clients and their families on personal injury matters ranging from traffic accidents to traumatic brain injuries. He has successfully obtained settlements for clients up to nearly 700,000 dollars.
